We meet every Wednesday during the semester on Wednesday nights at 8:15 in the Eppley Student Board Room, which is on the floor below the entrance to Eppley. Go down the stairs and turn right, and the room is on the right side of the hall just before the squash and racquetball courts.

We practice in Annapolis at the Annapolis Sailing School where our FJs are kept year-round. It's about a 45 minute drive from UMD's campus. After our weekly meetings, one of our officers will organize a group chat for practice and arrange carpools. Sometimes certain cars will stay after practice to get dinner or walk around downtown Annapolis.

We will practice at least once a week, if not more, depending on weather, interest and availability from sailors and officers. We won't sail in thunderstorms or really heavy wind, so practice is dependent on that.

Yes! We take sailors of all skill and experience levels and try to run a few 'learn to sail' practices or clinics each semester.

However much you're willing to make it. We're a club sport, so the team can be as big or little a part of your life as you want. Some members choose to travel and compete every weekend, while others choose only to come to practices and meetings. We ask that all members try to attend at least three team events outside of meetings every semester.
